Neomesh Image Converter is able to create simple GIF animations from your images. In this animation I am going to show you how to create an animation by loading your images into the image list, set the animation options and then select the convert button.

Step 1 - Load the images into the image list

If you wish to add a folder of images, select the button, if you want to add the images individually, select the button.

If you added the images individually, browse to the folder where your images are located, select the image(s) and press OK. You can select multiple images by holding down CTRL and clicking on each image.

Once you have added your images, they will be displayed in the image list. You can view the image simply by clicking on it.

Step 2 - Arranging the images

Now that you have loaded your images into the image list, you need to arrange them into the desired order. When you select an image, the image will be displayed in the right hand pane. The animation is compiled from top to bottom., to arrange the images select the filename and press the or buttons. Note: You are able to move multiple images at a time by holding down SHIFT while selecting.

Step 3 - Setting up your GIF animation

Click on the Settings tab or press the button.

  1. Select GIF animation from the Join Type box. You will notice that the options you don't need to use will be disabled.
  2. Select the filename for the GIF animation by clicking on the button.
  3. The GIF animation time is in hundredths of a second. The minimum speed for each frame is 10 (1 tenth of a second). So if you enter 200 as I have, the each frame of the animation will be displayed every 2 seconds.
  4. The Loop Forever checkbox determines whether to loop the animation indefinitely. When this checkbox is selected the animation will loop forever, if this checkbox is deselected, the GIF Loops box will be enabled allowing you to enter in the number of times you want the animation to loop.
You may want to set Effect & Transformation or Compression options aswell.

Step 4 - Compiling the GIF animation

Now that you have your images loaded into the image list and your GIF animation options set you can start the conversion. Click the button to start the conversion. A confirmation dialog will be displayed, click ok to start the conversion.
