Getting Started - Joining Images Print E-mail

Neomesh Image Converter is able to join images horizontally, vertically or even cascade the images by allowing you to specify the number of images per row or column.

Step 1 - Load the images into the image list

If you wish to add a folder of images, select the button, if you want to add the images individually, select the button.

If you added a folder, the following dialog is displayed. Browse to the folder of images you wish to add and select OK.

If you added the images individually, browse to the folder where your images are located, select the image(s) and press OK. You can select multiple images by holding down CTRL and clicking on each image.

Once you have added your images, they will be displayed in the image list. You can view the image simply by clicking on it.

Step 2 - Arranging the images

Now that you have loaded your images into the image list, you need to arrange them into the desired order. When you select an image, the image will be displayed in the right hand pane. The join is compiled from bottom to top, to arrange the images select the filename and press the or buttons. Note: You are able to move multiple images at a time by holding down SHIFT while selecting.

Step 3 - Setting the joining options.

Click on the Settings tab or press the button.

  1. Select whether to join your images horizontally or vertically.
  2. Select a filename and folder for the joined image by pressing the button.
  3. When the inline box is selected, Image Converter will join the images one after another either horizontally or vertically. When the inline box is not selected, Image Converter will enable the Images Per Row/Col entry box (4).
  4. When this box is enabled (by deselecting the Inline box) you can specify the maximum images per per row or column. For example, if you are joining 20 images horizontally, Inline is not selected and the Images Per Row/Col is set to two, Image Converter will put the first two images beside each other, then put the second two above. This will continue until Image Converter runs out of images.
You may want to set Effect & Transformation or Compression options aswell.

Step 4 - Starting the conversion

You are now ready to join your images. Click the button to start the conversion. A confirmation dialog will be displayed, press OK and if all goes well your images should start converting.
