Neomesh Image Converter is able to convert between many different formats. In
this tutorial I am going to show you how to do a simple conversion between two
different formats.
Step 1 - Load the images into the image list
If you wish to add a folder of images, select the
button,
if you want to add the images individually, select the
button.
If you added a folder, the following dialog is displayed. Browse to the
folder of images you wish to add and select OK.

If you added the images individually, browse to the folder where your images
are located, select the image(s) and press OK. You can select multiple images by
holding down CTRL and clicking on each image. If you would like to add the
subfolders to the image list, please see options 4 and 5 at step 2.

Once you have added your images, they will be displayed in the image list.
You can view the image simply by clicking on it.

Step 2 - Setting up the conversion
Click on the Settings tab or press the
button.

- Select this drop down box and select the output type. This is the image
type you want your images converted to.
- Click the
button. A
folder selection dialog will be displayed. Select the folder where you want
your images to be stored and select OK.
- This option determines what to do when Neomesh Image Converter encounters
a file with the same filename. Prompt User will display a warning
dialog when a file already exists, you have the option to cancel or overwrite
the file. Overwrite will automatically overwrite the file when a file
already exits. Append Incrementing Number will add a number to the end
of the filename if it finds a file that already exists.
- When adding folders (
)
and Include Subfolders is selected, Neomesh Image Converter will recursively
add the selected folder and subfolders into the image list.
- This option will copy the directory structure when converting images. It
is ideally used with the Include Subfolders option.
You may want to set Effect & Transformation or Compression options aswell.
Step 3 - Start the conversion
You are now ready to convert your images. Click the
button to
start the conversion. A confirmation dialog will be displayed, press OK and if
all goes well your images should start converting.
